THE VIVLIO HEALTH® TEAM
The Vivlio Health team has a collective 200+ years of experience providing leading edge technology solutions to the healthcare community. This has allowed our clients to power their organizations to drive productivity gains within their staff, drive increases in revenue, and ultimately allow healthcare organizations to re-invest precious healthcare dollars back into their local communities to care for patients. Our passion for contributing to patient care transcends our work at Vivlio Health and drives us to continuously create and innovate.
MATTHEW HALKOS, CEO
Matthew has spent his entire career in healthcare IT, in a variety of sales, marketing, and leadership roles.
When Matthew is passionate about a subject or a mission, he pursues it with vigor and intensity. If the problem is not difficult enough to untangle, he tends to get bored and uninterested. Fortunately, the US healthcare system is immensely complicated, so this has kept him engaged for the last 26 years and has led him to his latest venture, Vivlio Health.
His longest career engagement was with Navicure (2002-2017), a cloud-based revenue cycle clearinghouse, where he built and led the sales organization from pre-revenue to over $100 million in annual recurring revenue. This growth was all organic, with no acquisitions occurring during this time period. Under his leadership, the company sold twice, in 2009 and in 2016. Matthew departed Navicure in 2017 while retaining ownership in the firm – the business sold again in 2019 for a valuation of $2.7 billion.
While Matthew’s primary area of expertise is building and scaling large sales and marketing organizations and the monetization of excellent products, his long history in healthcare has allowed him to contribute deeply to product ideation and product development. He helped develop and launch several products while at Navicure/Waystar and again at his next two engagements Office Practicum, a cloud based pediatric EMR and QGenda, a cloud based physician scheduling application, recently valued at $1 billion in June 2020. These collective experiences led him to his latest venture, Vivlio Health, where he serves as CEO and founder.
Matthew graduated from the University of Virginia in 1994 with BA in Foreign Affairs, and a minor in Spanish.
